- RICE Prioritization Presentation
About this template
When teams have too many ideas, it’s easy to lose focus. Every project feels important, and everything seems like it should be done right now.
The RICE prioritization framework (Reach, Impact, Confidence, and Effort) is a structured approach for product managers and teams to weigh the feasibility and importance of each idea. Also, it allows teams to sort through tasks, ideas, or projects by focusing on what brings the most value.
Instead of debating which tasks to do first, you’ll have a clear breakdown that makes sense — no more back-and-forth explaining why some projects move up while others get delayed.
Here’s how it works. Reach tells you how many people a project could affect. Impact shows the level of value it can deliver. Confidence helps you decide how certain you are about the first two, and Effort measures how much work it’ll take.
After you’ve used the RICE prioritization method, sharing your findings is the next step. The template above lets you map your results visually. It ensures that the data from your decision-making process isn’t buried in spreadsheets or confusing notes.
This template is customizable, so you can add notes, adjust the content, or change the style to match your team’s goals. It’s flexible enough for small teams tackling a few ideas or larger teams managing multiple projects at once.
